A 'confessional' work for solo soprano, oboe, viola and harp .

'Confessions to my Father' is a piece inspired by the autobiographical visual art of Tracy Emin and Louise Bourgeois. It tries to capture the often synonymous, female experience of sexuality, torture and the sculpture of women. It was first premiered at the Rude Health Festival of Contemporary Music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
The piece is being constantly developed and reworked to represent all sectors and experiences of women in society. In March, the project will be developed into a song cycle; featuring Linda Hirst and Emily Thorner.
A TIME OF EMPTY TALES
A new contemporary opera, premiered with Tête à Tête Opera Company

A Time of Empty Tales was a piece written for Tête à Tête's Summer festival 2020 and was produced during the Coronavirus pandemic. The 40 minute length opera was first premiered in The Cockpit Theatre on the 10th September 2020. It received a sold-out live audience, and a online broadcast. The opera was written for two sopranos and two tenors and a one pianist. This was due to the limitations of the theatre and to maintain social distancing on stage. The opera featured a libretto by Catherine strong; reinterpreted A Thousand and One Nights and many of the stories and themes within it.
A piece for evolving orchestra

The voice of Baudelaire is often voyeuristic. His poetry is overly-intimate and secretive with themes of wine, sensuality, and attention. I was inspired by his concept of looking into the body and mind of someone else. I wanted to capture their heartbeats - their bloodstreams - I wanted to manipulate it. The idea of having a muse, and being able to mould your music into your art is fascinating. In this recording, I let the artists’ pulse determine the piece. I, however, am the composer. Hopefully, it should feel invasive to listen to. I want my audience to feel uncomfortable.
We recorded in an empty stairwell that I found. The musicians had stethoscopes taped to their bodies.
